Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-09-04 · Last updated: 2026-09-04

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Toast Karaoke from Watcharapong Dokmai sole proprietor ("we", "us"). They work together with the EULA, Privacy Notice, and Content Policy. By buying or using Toast Karaoke, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. The app and your licence

Toast Karaoke is self-hosted karaoke software that runs on your own computer. Your right to install and use it is the licence set out in the EULA. Which features and how many devices you get depend on the plan you buy.

2. Licence owner and credentials

Paid plans use a licence-owner record linked to your purchase email. The app does not require a password account: activation uses your email and licence key, and device management may use a time-limited email magic link. Keep your email account, licence key, device token, and magic links secure. You are responsible for activity authorised with them. Tell us promptly at support@toastkaraoke.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Free trial

Where offered, the free trial is for evaluation, requires no payment card, and is limited to one trial per device. To manage trials we store a device identifier as described in the Privacy Notice. Starting the trial requires an online licence check. We may change or end the trial offer for future users. A trial already issued remains valid for its stated three-day period unless we end it for abuse, security, or legal reasons. When the trial ends, paid features stop unless you buy a plan.

4. Plans, pricing, and billing

  • Reseller / merchant of record. Purchases of Toast Karaoke are handled by Paddle, which acts as our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle processes the payment, issues your invoice, and collects and remits any applicable taxes, so your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms and privacy policy. Your licence to use Toast Karaoke is granted by us under the EULA.
  • Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change for future purchases or renewals; we will not change the price of a billing period you have already paid for.
  • Taxes. Any applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated, shown, and collected by Paddle at checkout based on your location.
  • Subscription plans (monthly and yearly) renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until you cancel. Paddle takes payment at the start of each period.
  • 7-day Pass is a non-recurring purchase that begins when payment succeeds. It does not renew automatically. A new Pass bought while another is active adds seven days after the current Pass expiry.
  • Personal paid plans may remember up to five of the licence owner's devices, but Pro may be active on only one device at a time. They may not be shared or used at multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase under the same five-remembered-device, one-active-device rule. It includes updates for one year. "Lifetime" means the supported lifetime of the product, not a guarantee of perpetual service. Optional Updates Renewal may extend update eligibility without ending access to the last eligible version.
  • We do not receive or store your full card number.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. To cancel, use the account or subscription-management controls (including Paddle's customer portal linked from your receipt), or contact support@toastkaraoke.com.

6. Refunds

Except for the 7-day Pass, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@toastkaraoke.com. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, refunds are issued through Paddle and are also subject to its refund policy; we approve eligible requests and instruct Paddle to process them. Renewals and periods already elapsed may be non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer-protection or statutory withdrawal rights you may have.

The 7-day Pass is non-refundable after access is delivered, except where applicable law requires a refund or where access was not delivered, duplicated, or materially defective.

7. Updates and availability

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and we may modify or discontinue online services that some features rely on. We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Toast Karaoke to break the law or infringe anyone's rights (see the Content Policy);
  • bypass, disable, or interfere with licensing, activation, trial, or security measures;
  • resell, redistribute, or commercially sublicense the app except as allowed;
  • reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly permits.

9. Your content

You are responsible for the media you add and for having the right to store and perform it, including any public-performance licences. See the Content Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to Toast Karaoke is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms, the EULA, or the Content Policy, or to comply with law. You may stop using the app at any time. On termination you must stop using it; fees already paid are non-refundable except as stated in section 6 or required by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will give reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by email). Continuing to use Toast Karaoke after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you other rights.
